"My Shy Boy Saint" was originally eleased 1997 on Satellite/Soul Jazz Records as part of the Satellite Quartet, an EP also featuring Chris Bowden, and Sand. There is a different version on Yossarian's first album, Elegant Time. Both are available at Soul Jazz Records
Yossarian was essentially Timothy London. Live he performed with Kirsa Wilkensghildt and Fabio D'Agostino (bass synth/glockenspiel & drums respectively). Yossarian was introduced to Satellite/Soul Jazz by label mates Add N To X after producing their first releases. Yossarian went on to make another album for Satellite, Spidersweb, a dub album that had journalist Kitty Empire saying that here was the natural heir to Lee Perry. After a few more singles Yossarian/Tim London quit making pop music to concentrate on making films and music for theatre, for about seven years.
London is now back making pop music again. His first production is the Young Fathers debut album, a psychedelic boy band/electrohiphop affair that is being supported by the NME/Skins crowd (along side Unicorn Kid, another Edinburgh artist), first single, Straight Back On It was released a few weeks back to great reviews. Other one off singles with various artists have been released on his own label in the last couple of months of last year. He is currently working on an album by Heatherette (lead singer of Edinburgh band The Gussets), an album of dubstep based sounds by Saturday Night Dancehall as well as knocking out the odd remix for Esser, Damn Shames and others.
