In 2006, Dan Willson (previously of Peanut) began playing songs of his own, on his own, at shows organised by his friends in his home town of Edinburgh. The songs were fantastic but performing solo made Dan nervous and so gradually he amassed a troupe of assistants. Now when he plays he may be accompanied by any or all of the following: Hannah Shepherd (cello); Neil Pennycook (banjo); Alun Thomas (drums); Faith Nicholson; Jo Foster; Chris Bryant; and Bart Owl.
