Whisky Galore are a minuscule wee folk duo from Edinburgh, bound for as much success as Michelle McManus' personal trainer. Content with this fact they have a lot more fun than they would in a Libertines tribute band giving hand jobs for a one album deal with Rough Trade.

Early in 2008 they released a sketchy EP; "A Night On The Piss, A Year On The Dole". It sold a phenomenal 45 copies, whipping the media into a frenzy and just about shattering the music scene's richter scale. Following on from this epic success they released our full length debut in the summer of 2008.

After dabbling with a Christmas single and experimenting with a drum machine, half of the duo just couldn't take the pressure of life in the spotlight and so he's relocated to the peaceful town of London. They're currently about to start writing and recording long distance so expect some new lo-fi material from them in the not too distant future.
